Thieves Steal Liquor, Gets Drunk, Sleeps Off and Caught

What happens when a burglar robs some liquor and celebrate the booty on the spot? He gets drunk and falls asleep. Easy for the cops, right?

This is what happened to Keith Cullen and Paul Wiggins at Swansea, Wales. Both these burglars steal liquor worth about $1,154 from a liquor store. They stacked up the stolen booze outside the store and then went in to have a drink. Naturally got heavy drunk on the free booze, they doze off. It was for the cops as they found them deep in sleep outside the store next morning.

The Sun newspaper reports that Cullen turned up for his hearing at Swansea magistrates' court so drunk he was prohibited from entering the building. Wiggins disappeared from the court.

Don't ask me whether there was any proof. The close circuit TV installed at the store recorded the entire proceedings of their burglary, boozing and sleeping act for all of us and the court to see!

Now, next time, we hope, when both these burglars decide to steal liquor, they would celebrate their booty at a different place and not the place of theft. What do you say?

Bear Ransacks House-Gobbles Up Chocolates From Fridge

Did you know that bears have sweet tooth? This was proved recently in a Californian house. A bear gobbled up a box of chocolate from a couple's refrigerator.

When the couple returned to their San Bernardino County home, they found that a bear broke in to their house and was chowing down in their kitchen! Apparently it pushed aside vegetables in their fridge and went for the two pound box of chocolate.

The couple phoned police; but the bear fled before they arrived. The sad thing was that the bear tried to open a bottle of champagne, but became unsuccessful in its attempt.

Now, if you like to have a party full of fun, why don't you invite this bear and keep ready some sweets and one or two bottles of champagne?

Bear Knocks Down Man For Sandwich

'Gimme That Sandwich', shouts a hungry Jersey bear to a man on his own driveway. When he does not obey, bear had no option left, but to attack him and knock him down. Won't you think so?

Henry Rouwendal, at Vernon, New Jersey was loading his car in his driveway for a trip. Lurking somewhere in the dark was a black female bear that smelled the Italian hoagie Henry had in a bag outside the car. He was suddenly got hit from behind.

Henry was knocked to the ground face-first, according to the report. He rolled over to find the bear standing over him. It grabbed the sandwich. Henry went into fight rather than flight mode. He says he kicked the bear 3 times!

The bear ran off and Henry was left aching on the ground with a head injury, dislocated shoulder, large cut on his left temple and some deep body bruises. It took him an hour before he could get up and get back inside his home.

Now, what do you think? Should Henry have attacked the bear in return? I would have simply gave the sandwich to the bear. After all it was very hungry, you know. Moreover, kudos to whosoever made that sandwich. It should have a wonderful aroma and would be very tasty too!! Yummy! Italian hoagie, loaded with salami and other meats, lettuce, onions and tomatoes" was so tempting for even a bear.

This is what you can do on a toilet themed restaurant recently opened in Taiwan. Here, all the 100 seats are made from toilet bowls, not chairs. The tables are like wash basins and other tubs. The entire look of this toilet-themed restaurant is like that of a Toilet. First time you enter it, you feel you have entered a Public Toilet!!

Now, tell me whether you would like to have your dinner at such a bizarre restaurant. And would you like to taste the ice-cream shaped like faeces from there as dessert?

Man Eats 68 Hot Dogs and Wins The Contest

Making a record by eating 68 hot-dogs and winning the competition for a third time in a row! That's indeed an achievement, isn't it?


This July 4th hot-dog eating competition was held in Coney Island. Started in 1916, the contest gained immense popularity over the years. Only 13 hot-dogs were needed to win the contest in 1916, which increased to 25 in 2000 and 49 in 2005 whereas this year it needed 68 hot-dogs to win the competition.

Joey Chestnut, the 25 year old winner, who chomped down 68 hot dogs was very happy to win the contest a third time in a row.
